THE PETE DALMAZZI CHARITY CHALLENGE
The Pete Dalmazzi Charity Challenge, formally founded in 2022, annually awards donations to deserving charities that are either within Rexdale or have a significant tie to the DOM DAY Community.
This award culminates the DOM DAY community's long term commitment to local charities.
As an inductee to the DOM DAY Hall of Fame, Pete was recognized as an integral piece of the
DOM DAY puzzle since the tournament commenced in 1978. As both the manager of the Red Machine franchise and a founding member of DOM DAY, Pete has always been and continues to be a driving force behind this great event.
Whether it is the respect of his peers as a leader and passionate enthusiast of the game of baseball,or as a thoughtful mentor to many within the second-generation Pete is the embodiment of the DOM DAY passion This initiative is in honour of Pete Dalmazzi’s outstanding commitment to competition, charity, and the DOM DAY Rexdale community through his leadership both on and off the field.
