DOMINION DAY CLASSIC
Welcome to Her-story.
For 45 years, DOMDAY has been a celebration of tradition, competition, and chaos. It’s been a stage for epic highs, questionable calls, and enough inside jokes to fill a stadium. And for 45 years, one thing remained constant: the ladies in the stands.
But in 2025, something changed. There’s a new game on the docket.
Introducing The Queens’ Plate — the next chapter in the DOMDAY schedule, played by the women who’ve cheered, chirped, and carried this tournament from the sidelines.
You can call it history. We call it herstory.
It's the GALLIAGRES GIRLS vs the FIREBALLERS. So pull up a lawn chair, crack a cold one, and watch the next generation of legends lace ‘em up. Because this weekend, the royal court takes the field.
Long live the Queens.

The inaugural year saw The Galliagre Girls defeat The Fireballers to become the first winners of the Queen's Plate.
In addition, The Mike Donnelly Rookie of the Year Winner was bestowed on Kim McCrae, Cindy Woods, Teresa Wolff and Frannie Sythes.
